After more than 63 years of consistent companionship with the piano, I feel more experienced in solo playing and professional piano teaching. I am also increasingly working in the area of piano chamber music teaching, where I am achieving certain successes. I am eager to share more of my experiences in this area. I currently offer courses and master classes in piano chamber music and solo playing and invite anyone who may be interested to reach out.
My experiences after studying in Berlin and Moscow include:
The Beethoven's sonatas "Hammerklavier" and op.111.
- Last concert in November 2023 in France:
Beethoven, two bagatelles from op.126 and the two sonatas mentioned.
- Last workshop in November 2023 in France:
Piano chamber music and solo playing. Works by Beethoven, Mozart and Schubert.
Here is the latest recording of Paris: L.v.Beethoven’s sonatas, Hammerklavier number 29 and the last sonata number 32.
Audio recording J.P. victor, sound editing by Hartmut Wagner.
The recording was in Paris with the friendly support of Mrs. and Mr. Elisabeth and Martin Aeschbacher.
Player's comment:
I believe that musical performance should not reach the point of violence, anger, noise, or become aggressive, but rather it should convey strength, determination, greatness, and become wonderful. In the case of the music of the two aforementioned sonatas, it could tend towards exaggeration in terms of loud sounds, making them direct and harsh instead of full and rich. I believe that Beethoven's personality, which created this immortal music, was at the pinnacle of humanity, depth of feeling, and full of life, something that Beethoven expresses with various tools, whether dramatic or poetic, building a wide and extended tonal range, diverse and different, always serving the same goal: expressing the deep inner being and emotions of man in all their shades - always within a sincere feeling towards people, desiring good for them and relating to them in their misfortunes and joys, aspiring to purity and goodness.
